Last Day in Paris...

Today was great. We went to Versailles and toured the Palace: The Hall of Mirrors opened up only 3 days ago so its a new attraction! It was goregous. We also ate at Les Deux Maggots and walked around and went to Notre Dame, where they were holding a mass inside! And ate more nutella and banana crepes... everytime I pass a stand I have to have one. Tonight we went to my friend Charles` house for dinner. I love seeing friends, especially him and his two brothers, and all the friends that come and go from his house. Its amazing.

Tomorrow morn we head out for New York and Sunday for SF!! When I get back Ill be sure to post final pictures, and hopefully some from Alexs camera too.

Thanks for reading and for posting. Ive had a lot of fun doing it and glad Ill have this keepsake to look back on.

Im looking forward to having my cellphone back and not living out of a backpack, but I think Ill miss a lot more here and I cant wait for my next trip back!
Love and miss you all.

(ps court, no yellow shirt here in Paris Zara Im sorry, maybe you can steal mine. And Buddah Bar is like the Ambassador of Paris no wonder you dont like it but for the hour we were there and the company we were with it was awesome; les deux maggots was a great suggestion though! And dad; Ill see about a shirt.... depends how early those shops open! ;) love you lots)

Cest Tout Ce Que Jàime

Paris has been amazing; and thankfully for us they are having bad weather. We`ve been able to wear pants and my peacoat Ive been lugging everywhere... I knew it was good for something.
Yesterday we had an amazingly successful day. We went to the Louvre and saw the Mona Lisa and walked all the way down the Champs Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe: Then we went to Hotel Des Invalides and the Rodin Museum and over around the Latin Quarter and the Sorbonne. At night we met up with Alex`s boss Sarah at the very famous Buddah Bar (where we had 17€ cocktails; so worth it for the ambiance!) It was very good to see her and her daughter.
Today we shopped all over the city: In Europe they have set sales and we happen to be in the middle of one so theres great sales everywhere but the stores are nuts! We also went up to Monmartre and the cemetary...eek (for those that know me know thats my worst fear!) and to the Moulin Rouge. We met my friend Charles who lives in Paris for a drink and now we are resting before dinner.
Not much time left!

Hope you enjoy the pictures, Most of just Alex is on her camera which we cant hook up so you get a whole lot of me....
(court the shirt is from Zara in Amsterdam! I would get you one if I was there. love you, sorry!)

Paris!!

Today we left Nice and arrived in Paris! Our last stop on this awesome journey. It was actually very easy to find our hotel, and it is very cute!
We went to la Tour Eiffel and walked to the first level, 668 steps, and took an elevator the rest of the way up. Its pretty cold here; our first stop in jeans and jackets; then we ate dinner, drank chocolat chaud and walked the Seine all the way home: Our hotel is in the Latin Quarter right next to the Notre Dame!
We are excited for the rest of our time here; its so exciting!
I say Jaime Paris and Alex says Je m`aime...

Monaco...

The French Rivera is absolutely gorgeous:

This morning we went back to the beach; our last beach holiday! After; we took the train up to Monaco and walked around Monte Carlo, the casino, the port with all the giant yatchs: and the streets with the porshes and lamborghinis: I think Id like to live here:

Tomorrow we are off to our last stop in Europe; Paris!!! Then we spend a night in NYC before heading back to san fran.

These internet cafes in the french rivera have been the most expensive! 4 euros for an hour... insane. So more pictures later!

the pics below are from in front of my school in florence, Barcelona, my birthday (the double peace sign is 22 years old not just any peace sign Miranda!) and our first day in Nice:
Pray for us that it doesnt rain in Paris!

Firenze

It was 95 degrees in Florence today, and the sun stays out all day. We walked around a lot and did a lot of shopping, but we both found what we came for!! We went to my favorite place for lunch in Florence, The Oil Shoppe which makes amazing sandwiches (the owner even remembered me because I was there as often as possible last year!) We walked over the Ponte Vecchio to the Pitti Palace and there was a whole flag throwing tournament going on. Kind of a cool thing to stumble upon. We ate dinner outside at the Piazza next to the Plazza Vecchio and the Uffizi and afterwards walked up to Piazza Michelangelo to watch the sunset over the city (at a quarter to 10pm!). It was gorgeous. Our feet hurt from all the walking, but we talk about how much we have seen in these past couple of weeks! Tomorrow we go to Pisa to see the tower and take off for Barcelona where we plan to see the sites and spend a lot of time on the beach and perhaps go out to celebrate (when else am I going to have a birthday in Barcelona??)
Florence has been incredible, and its been so nice staying at Gallo D'Oro and being in this amazing city!
