Um...update.. I cant believe I havent mentioned that the Ducks won the Stanley Cup!! Holla!! Wish I was at home to celebrate with them, as Im sure my dad (yes Ill find a big enough shirt for you ;) did.

And Miranda... Jimmy Woos is going to New York in 6 months so Alex and I may have to visit for that!

Now...Berlin!

Our hostel is amazing. St Christophers Inn, they have hotel-hostles in a few cities. IT has a bar down below and had better breakfast than Ive had in a long time. We decided to take the free walking tour that picked up from the hostel. It ended up being the best thing ever. It was almost 4 hours of walking around the city with a tour guide who was a girl from Kansas City, its absolutely free you just tip at the end. We went to the Brandenburger Gate, Reichstag, The park where they have the love parade, the Holocaust Memorial, Hitlers Bunker, the Airforce Building..now the tax building, Berlin Wall, Checkpoint Charlie, French square with two huge churches and the symphony, Humboldt University, Opera House, Nueu Wache, Museum Island at the TV towers, Pergamon Museum with one of the arches to the gates of Babylon (one of the 7 wonders of the ancient world) and I had a giant hotdog for 3 euros from a stand which was delicious. We walked up and down Unter de Linden a couple times. Its insanely interesting to see the buildings that have the bullet holes and the really old statues that are blackened from all the bombings. The tour guide we had was extremely smart and it was neat to get all the information from her on the history of everything. It was WAY WAY worth it! Theres no way we could have done that on our own, all my world history knowledge was flowing back to me.

It was pretty super hot today at a few points. Even with sunscreen we got a little burnt. Especially waiting for the reichstag we were dripping sweat. We spent a good almost 9 hours walking around. Tomorrow we hit up the Zoo! And Ka Da We (for you Tall Fry) and the bombed out church (for you court).

Alex and I both feel we did an awesome job allowing enough time in each place and then moving on, and loving every moment of it!!!!
